Ashley Jensen blasts ‘irresponsible’ skinny celebrities

Ugly Betty actress Ashley Jensen has blasted skinny Hollywood stars for their constant dieting. She thinks their “irresponsible” behavior sets a bad example to young fans and feels angered by fellow celebrities who cut down on food so that they look slimmer on screen.
Speaking at Cosmopolitan’s Ultimate Women of the Year Awards in London, the 38-year-old actress says she prides herself on her full and healthy appetite:
“I like my food and wine too much to diet all the time. I don’t think it’s a particularly good thing starving yourself to look thin for the cameras anyway. I don’t think it’s very responsible. I know a lot of people do it, but what message is that giving out to people? It’s a world of extremes out there, but I’m one of those people who believes in ‘everything in moderation’. I’m not going to change that belief.” [Source]
